Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Job Description

Paxton Consultants is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to improve the reliability, incident response, and performance of high-traffic production services. You will apply engineering practices to operations to keep systems dependable at scale. Key Responsibilities • Define and track service level objectives and error budgets • Build monitoring, alerting, and dashboards using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana • Participate in on-call rotations, lead incident response, and run blameless postmortems • Automate operational tasks and remove manual toil • Analyze capacity, performance, and scalability, and recommend improvements • Partner with development teams to improve resilience and release practices This is a contract engagement. This is a remote position open to candidates across the US.
