Terms of Service & Code of Conduct

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, booking a session, or providing coaching services through Paxton Consultants (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and Code of Conduct (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Platform. These Terms apply equally to candidates ("Candidates") seeking coaching and instructors ("Instructors") providing coaching.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your profile and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• Instructor accounts require administrator review and approval before they become active.
• Paxton Consultants may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. The Platform

Paxton Consultants connects Candidates with Instructors for paid interview preparation and career coaching sessions, delivered via video conferencing (including Zoom links generated within the Platform), along with supporting features such as scheduling, in-app messaging, a shared resource library, and session feedback/ratings.

4. Code of Conduct

All users of the Platform agree to the following standards of conduct:

• Professional conduct only. Communications between Candidates and Instructors must remain limited to interview preparation and career coaching. Romantic, sexual, or otherwise personal advances of any kind are strictly prohibited.
• No solicitation of personal contact information. Sharing personal phone numbers, personal email addresses, social media handles, or requests to communicate outside the Platform in order to bypass Platform oversight, fees, or policies is prohibited. The Platform may automatically redact such information from messages, profile bios, resource titles, and feedback.
• No harassment, discrimination, or abuse. Threatening, harassing, discriminatory, or abusive language or behavior toward any Candidate, Instructor, or staff member is prohibited.
• Honest representation. Instructors must accurately represent their qualifications and experience. Candidates must not misrepresent their identity or use the Platform to obtain unauthorized interview answers for real employer interviews (e.g., live interview cheating).
• No circumvention of payments. Instructors may not solicit direct, off-platform payment from Candidates to avoid Platform fees or refund protections.
• Respect intellectual property. Resources shared in the resource library must not infringe on the rights of third parties and may not be redistributed outside the Platform without permission.

5. Monitoring & Enforcement

To protect the safety of our community, in-app messages, profile content, and feedback are automatically screened for personal contact information and for language indicating solicitation of a romantic or sexual relationship, harassment, or other Code of Conduct violations. Flagged communications, along with relevant context, may be reviewed by Paxton Consultants administrators. Violations may result in a warning, suspension, or permanent termination of an account, at Paxton Consultants' sole discretion, without refund of any unused package sessions in cases of serious misconduct.

6. Payments, Cancellations & Refunds

Session fees, package pricing, cancellation windows, and refund eligibility are described at checkout and in your account dashboard. Refunds are processed by Paxton Consultants administrators in accordance with the Platform's cancellation policy in effect at the time of booking.

7. Intellectual Property

All Platform software, branding, and Paxton Consultants-authored materials remain the property of Paxton Consultants. Coaching materials shared by Instructors remain the property of the Instructor unless otherwise agreed, but Instructors grant Candidates a limited license to use shared materials for personal interview preparation.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Platform facilitates coaching sessions but does not guarantee interview or job offer outcomes. Coaching services are provided by independent Instructors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paxton Consultants is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. Paxton Consultants may suspend or terminate access immediately for violations of this Code of Conduct, including but not limited to solicitation of personal relationships, harassment, or attempts to circumvent Platform payments or oversight.

10. Changes to These Terms

Paxton Consultants may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to users, and continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
