Data Scientist (Applied ML)

Job Description

Paxton Consultants is hiring a Data Scientist to develop predictive models and experimentation frameworks that drive measurable business outcomes. You will work with stakeholders from problem definition through deployment and ongoing measurement. Key Responsibilities • Frame business questions as analytical problems and define success metrics • Explore and prepare data, engineering features using Python and SQL • Build, validate, and tune predictive models using scikit-learn, XGBoost, and related tools • Design and analyze experiments, including A/B tests, to quantify impact • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences • Work with engineering teams to deploy models and monitor their performance over time This is a permanent position. This is a hybrid position based in Boston, MA.
