Network Security Engineer (Zero Trust / SASE)

Job Description

Paxton Consultants is hiring a Network Security Engineer to design and deploy zero-trust network access, SD-WAN, and next-generation firewall solutions across hybrid environments. You will help secure users and workloads wherever they connect from. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement zero-trust and SASE architectures • Configure and manage next-generation firewalls and secure web gateways • Deploy and optimize SD-WAN connectivity and segmentation • Develop and maintain security policies, rules, and change documentation • Monitor network security events and troubleshoot connectivity and policy issues • Participate in security assessments and support incident response This is a contract engagement. This is a hybrid position based in Houston, TX.
