Paxton Consultants is seeking a Senior Java / Spring Boot Engineer to develop resilient microservices for financial-services clients using event-driven architectures. You will build systems where correctness, security, and uptime matter. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop microservices and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot • Build event-driven integrations with Kafka • Apply strong practices for testing, security, and resilience • Deploy and run services in cloud-native environments • Review code, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to technical design • Investigate and resolve production issues and improve system reliability This is a permanent position. This is a hybrid position based in Charlotte, NC.
