Job Description

Paxton Consultants is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to lead cloud architecture design and migration strategy for enterprise clients on AWS. You will translate business goals into scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions and guide delivery teams through implementation. Key Responsibilities • Define target-state AWS architectures and reference designs for applications and data platforms • Lead cloud migration assessments, planning, and execution, including rehost, replatform, and refactor approaches • Establish infrastructure-as-code standards using Terraform or CloudFormation • Design for security, resilience, scalability, and cost optimization in line with the Well-Architected Framework • Advise client leadership and engineering teams, presenting trade-offs and recommendations clearly • Review solution designs and mentor engineers on cloud best practices This is a permanent position. This is a hybrid position based in New York, NY.
