BI Developer (Power BI / Tableau)

Job Description

Paxton Consultants is looking for a BI Developer to create interactive dashboards and semantic models that turn enterprise data into clear, actionable insight. You will work closely with business users to understand their questions and deliver reports they trust. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and publish dashboards and reports in Power BI or Tableau • Develop semantic models, measures, and calculations, including DAX, that reflect agreed business definitions • Write and tune advanced SQL to prepare and validate data for reporting • Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into effective visualizations • Implement row-level security, refresh schedules, and governance practices • Train users and document reports so adoption remains high after delivery This is a contract engagement. This is a hybrid position based in Phoenix, AZ.
