QA Automation Engineer (SDET)

Job Description

Paxton Consultants is hiring a QA Automation Engineer to design and maintain automated test frameworks across UI, API, and performance layers within CI/CD pipelines. You will help the team release with speed and confidence. Key Responsibilities • Build and maintain automated test suites using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium • Develop API and integration tests and contribute to performance testing • Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor results • Analyze failures, reduce flakiness, and report defects with clear reproduction steps • Collaborate with developers and product owners on test strategy and coverage • Write test code in TypeScript or Python following good engineering practices This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential to convert to a permanent role. This is a remote position open to candidates across the US.
