Job Description

Paxton Consultants is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead multiple engineering teams, set technical strategy, and partner with product and executive leadership to scale delivery. You will be accountable for both the quality of the technology and the growth of the people building it. Key Responsibilities • Lead and develop engineering managers and teams, including hiring, performance management, and career growth • Define and communicate technical vision, architecture direction, and engineering standards • Partner with product and business leaders to plan roadmaps and balance priorities and capacity • Drive delivery excellence, with healthy engineering practices, predictable releases, and strong reliability • Manage budgets, vendors, and resourcing across teams • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement This is a permanent position.
