Google Cloud (GCP) Engineer

Job Description

Paxton Consultants is looking for a Google Cloud Engineer to build and operate GCP environments for enterprise product teams. You will work with services such as GKE, BigQuery, and Cloud Run to deliver secure, scalable platforms. Key Responsibilities • Design and deploy GCP infrastructure including networking, IAM, and project structure • Provision environments with Terraform and manage them through version-controlled pipelines • Operate and optimize GKE clusters and Cloud Run services • Support data workloads in BigQuery, including access control and cost management • Implement CI/CD, monitoring, and alerting for cloud-hosted applications • Document designs and collaborate with application teams on migration and operational readiness This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential to convert to a permanent role. This is a hybrid position based in Denver, CO.
