Cloud Security Engineer

Job Description

Paxton Consultants is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to protect multi-cloud workloads through strong posture management, identity controls, and security automation. You will help teams ship quickly while keeping cloud environments compliant and resilient. Key Responsibilities • Assess and improve cloud security posture using CSPM tools and industry benchmarks • Harden identity and access management, including least-privilege roles, federation, and secrets management • Design and implement zero-trust and network segmentation controls across cloud environments • Automate security checks and policy enforcement in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines • Investigate and remediate misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, and cloud security incidents • Partner with engineering and compliance teams to support audits and security reviews This is a permanent position. This is a remote position open to candidates across the US.
