AI Solutions Specialist / Prompt Engineer

Job Description

Paxton Consultants is looking for an AI Solutions Specialist to turn the capabilities of large language models into dependable business solutions. You will design prompts, evaluation frameworks, and AI-assisted workflows, and work directly with stakeholders to understand problems and measure results. Key Responsibilities • Design, test, and refine prompts and prompt chains for business use cases such as summarization, extraction, and customer support • Build evaluation suites that measure accuracy, consistency, safety, and cost across model versions • Develop Python scripts and lightweight integrations that connect LLM APIs to existing systems and data sources • Document patterns, guardrails, and best practices so solutions can be reused across teams • Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into well-scoped AI workflows • Monitor deployed solutions, analyze failures, and iterate to improve quality over time This is a contract engagement. This is a remote position open to candidates across the US.
