Infrastructure Automation Engineer (Terraform)

Job Description

Paxton Consultants is looking for an Infrastructure Automation Engineer to create reusable Terraform modules and pipelines that provision secure, compliant infrastructure across multiple cloud accounts. You will make infrastructure a repeatable, reviewable product. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Terraform and Terragrunt modules following consistent standards • Build pipelines for planning, testing, and applying infrastructure changes • Implement policy-as-code guardrails using tools such as OPA or Sentinel • Manage state, versioning, and module release practices • Support multi-account environments and drift detection and remediation • Partner with platform and security teams, and document usage for consuming teams This is a contract engagement. This is a remote position open to candidates across the US.
